REFERRAL PROGRAM

Earn commission for every referral

If your audience writes embedded, safety-critical, or otherwise coverage-obsessed code, tell them about Fucini Coverage Studio Pro — and earn a recurring commission for every subscriber you bring in.

Apply to become a referrer

How it works

  1. Apply and get your own unique referral link.
  2. Share it with your audience — a blog post, a talk, a README, wherever makes sense.
  3. Someone signs up for Pro, Pro Plus, Business, or Enterprise using your link.
  4. You earn 20% of what they're actually billed, automatically, for their first 12 months.

Applications are reviewed by a person — deliberately, while the programme is small. Once you're approved your referral link is issued from our referral system, which tracks clicks and attributes sign-ups to you automatically. Commission begins accruing once paid checkout goes live; until then you can share your link and it will already be attributing visitors.

Commission: a worked example

20% recurring commission, capped to each referred customer's first 12 months — not a lifetime commission, and it does not reset annually. Applies to every plan, including Business and Enterprise — here's exactly what that means in practice, for a Pro referral at €5/mo:

MonthCustomer paysYour commission (20%)
1 – 12€5/mo€1.00/mo
13 onward (still subscribed)€5/mo€0 — stops permanently

Total from one full-year referral: €12, paid out monthly as your referral pays — not a lump sum upfront. If they cancel after 4 months, you've earned €4 total from that referral. Once a referred customer's 12 months are up, that specific referral stops paying out for good, even if they keep subscribing for years — it does not come back the next year. Referring a different person starts an entirely separate, independent 12-month clock — there's no limit on how many people you can refer.

Business and Enterprise referrals — same rule, bigger numbers

Business/Enterprise pricing is negotiated per customer (it depends on their seat count and the rate agreed with them), not a fixed number like Pro. That doesn't change how your commission works — it's still exactly 20% of whatever the company is actually billed each month for their whole seat pool, whatever that total turns out to be, for the same first-12-months window. Illustrative example: a referred Business customer negotiates 10 seats at €4.50/seat/mo:

MonthCustomer paysYour commission (20%)
1 – 1210 seats × €4.50 = €45/mo€9.00/mo
13 onward (still subscribed)€45/mo€0 — stops permanently

Total from that referral's first year: €108 (20% × €45 × 12). The actual number always depends on the negotiated rate and seat count for that specific customer — this is just an example of the same rule in action, not a quote for any real deal. If the company later adds more seats, your commission for the remaining months of that first year scales up automatically with the higher bill; the same is true if they reduce seats.

Frequently asked

Can I just tell people about Fucini Coverage Studio without applying?

Of course — you're always welcome to recommend it. The referral program just gives you a trackable link and a commission when someone signs up because of you.

When and how do I get paid?

Your commission accumulates into one running balance across all your referrals combined — not separately per referral. If your total balance is under €20 at the end of a month, nothing is lost: it simply carries over and keeps growing. The first month it crosses €20, the full accumulated balance is paid out at once to the account you registered with, then it resets to zero and starts building again. This matters because a single Pro referral only ever earns €12 total over its capped first year (12 months × €1) — on its own, that alone would never reach €20, so your first payout typically arrives once you have a few referrals active, or after several months of combined earnings.

Does this apply to Business or Enterprise plans?

Yes — same 20%, same first-12-months rule, applied to whatever the company is actually billed each month for their seat pool. See the worked example above; the commission scales with the deal size since it's a percentage of the real invoice, not a fixed amount.
